The Danish Road Directorate is constructing a
new Storstrøm Bridge, which connects Zealand to Falster through Masnedø. The
bridge will be approximately 4 km long, and is the 3rd largest bridge in
Denmark.
The Storstrøm Bridge will have an electric railway with two tracks designed for a speed of 200 km/h and a two-lane regional road for 80 km/h. In addition, it will have a footpath and cycle track.
The bridge is of great regional importance and is also an important part of the railway corridor between Copenhagen and Germany.
The bridge will cost approx. DKK 4.2 billion. The project is co-financed by the European Union TEN-T Program (112 mio. DKK).

We are constructing a double track railway and road bridge with a cycle track and footpath across the Storstrøm Bridge.
